What You'll Do:
- Support staff operations by orienting and training new hires, assisting with scheduling and on-call coverage, and enforcing attendance policies.
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, ambulation, transfers, meals, and overall comfort and support.
- Administer medications, monitor and record vital signs, perform delegated treatments, collect samples, and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
- Maintain resident and facility supplies and weekly orders, prepare medication and appointment documentation, and ensure proper equipment sterilization and infection control practices, including COVID-19 testing as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and team members to support quality resident care, staff development, mandatory trainings, and ongoing communication across departments.
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Good standing, active MN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or successful completion of agency-provided training
- 2+ years of prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care setting preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with older adults preferred
